3.3.1 Add a Server Profile |
There are two methods to add a new server profile Using server wizard 1 Click File->New menu item, then click the server tab. 2 Input new server profile name and IP address or host name. 3 Select your work type, if you just want to open,edit and save files to remote server , click Edit only radio button, otherwise click Remote debug radio button. 4 Setup telnet property(Optional). If you choose remote debug radio button At step 3,telnet dialog pops up, you choose remote operation system type, remote develop environment( I.e. gcc or cworkshop ),then type in your telnet username, password and port(if necessary),click next. 5 Ftp property appears, just type in your ftp user name and password. you can have a test if necessary, then click next. 6 There are a summary for you ,if you ensure this, click next ,otherwise click back to previous settings.
Using server manager 1 click file->Remote Server Manager , the server manager dialog appears. 2 Click new button, the new server pages appear, 3 You can setup the property of new server . 4 Click OK, the new server will appear in the server list.

3.3.2 Remove a Server Profile |
1 click File->Remote Server Manager , the server manager dialog appears. 2 Click to select the server you want to remove. 3 Click Remove button to remove the server you have selected in previous step.

3.3.3 Configure a Server Profile |
1 click File->Remote Server Manager , the server manager dialog appears. 2 double click a server you want to click ,or select a server then click Property button. the server setup dialog appear. 3 modify properties of that server then click OK |
3.3.4 Enable/Disable Remote Server Sync |
1 Click File->Remote Server Manager , the server manager dialog appears. 2 Double click the server you want to enable/disable remote sync. 3 Enable/Disable the remote file sync checkbox. you can also setup the sync interval of the server if you have enabled remote sync of a server. Tips: After you enable the remote file sync, you can set file sync interval in the Sync Interval edit box. |
3.3.5 Establish a Telnet session |
1 Click File->Session Manager , Session Manager Dialog appears. 2 Select the telnet session you want to establish. 3 Click Connect button -or- Click the right button of mouse ,select Connect in the shortcut menu. Note: Magic C++ establishes telnet session for you automatically when you first use find ,build of debug function, and the session will not close until operation has been finished. |
3.3.6 Close a Telnet session |
1 Click File->Session Manager , Session Manager Dialog appears. 2 Select the active telnet session you want to close. 3 Click Disconnect button. -or- Click the right button of mouse ,select Disconnect in the shortcut menu.
